Clean GPX track data by removing fast travel sections from ecological surveys.
This tool processes GPS tracks recorded during field surveys, identifying and removing sections where travel speed exceeds a threshold (indicating helicopter transport). Each walking segment is saved as a separate track in the output GPX file.
Track points faster than this are treated as flight and removed.

We analyse your GPX track point by point, calculating travel speed between consecutive points.

When speed exceeds the threshold, those points are flagged as helicopter (or other vehicle) travel and removed.

Walking segments with more than 10 points are saved as separate tracks in the output file.
All processing happens in your browser — your data never leaves your device. You retain all rights to your data, and Fieldwork Labs does not collect, store, or access it.
